The mind cannot grow and expand unless you
understand your inner conditioning and try to free yourself from it.
Practice the art of contemplation, concentration
and visualization,. These are the tools that help you to create a
better future for your selves and for others.
Train your mind so that it know how to probe and
understand the world around you. Be curious. Ask questions and seek
information. This is the only way you can hope to keep learning.
Reason is the first resort to solve any problem.
When reason fails look for intuition. When intuition fails, keep
faith and pray.
Test your opinions, beliefs and assumptions.
Do not argue instinctively, but try to understand
and agree first.
Think positively. Look for the positive in every
thing. Appreciate the good all around you and in others
Practice unconditional love. It is not easy, but
there is no harm in trying. Start with your own children near and dear.

Improve your communication
skills. Master the art of speaking and the art of listening. Improve
your vocabulary, your expressions, your voice modulation. Listen
effectively, with total silence, with empathy, with understanding,
with open mind.
Read good books. Read
intelligently. Be selective in watching films and TV programmes. Know
when to read and when to browse.
Have good friends who share
your interests and hobbies.
Practice creativity. Apply
creativity to the mundane as well as serious aspects of life and see
how much you can broaden the spectrum of your life and experiences.
Give your mind adequate rest
and relaxation so that it can work at its optimum level of efficiency.
Eat healthy food that
vitalizes your brain and keeps it fit.
Control negative emotions and thoughts.
Practice the virtues of
compassion, forgiveness and tranquility.
Listen to good music. Learn
to appreciate Nature.
Develop your own philosophy
of life born out of your own experiences and perceptions.
Do not follow any one or any
thing blindly and unconditionally. Question all statements and verify
all opinions.
Do not depend upon chance.
Have goals in your life and strive to achieve them. Organize and
control your actions without undue anxiety about your future, your
